Dec 23, 2009: I am procrastinating on switching to the new blogging platform. So much so that blogging is old news now and twittering is the new IN-thing. Maybe I should switch to using twittering? Hmmm.....

It's been a couple years since I last updated this site. Let's see, in that time, I've gotten married, we're in the midst of a terrible recession and I just had a daughter! The kid is what makes this whole life thing worthwhile. It's amazing to be a parent. I feel almost all grown up :-)

I'm am still at NetCom, over the past couple of years, we have grown amidst real challenges. We'll be around as long as there is a need for training. The good news is our systems and processes and most importantly, people has matured to the stage where running training operations are now smoother and more predictable. We practice "Kaizen", the art of continous improvement and we are practically "Passionate About Learning" (our new motto!)

A bit of history...the reason why i got oinky.com is because oink.com is taken! You see, oink is my original nick on irc efnet back in 92. For those of you who are clueless, irc stands for Internet Relay Chat. I used to frequent #penang and then #wei and finally #c0lle before dropping out actively finally realizing that i had to work for a living! This is meant to be a personal site for me and I'll try to be more regular now than before. I've always wanted an up to date site but work, play and lack of focus has prevented me from offering a site about me and stuff on the web.
